“Grandpa Hank”….We will miss you with all of our hearts. For me, I will miss that sparkle in your eyes, your gentle demeanor, your love of everyone and those big hugs. I always looked forward to the holidays or any gatherings at the Verrengias, knowing I’d get to see you, and be able to sit and listen to your stories!! You’d remind me, “Take those vitamins!!” I loved listening to you talk, telling me in detail about your escapades growing up and stories while you were in the U.S. Army. It has been an honor and privilege to know you; I know my life, and my family’s lives, have been made better knowing “Grandpa Hank.” Rest in peace – we love and miss you so very much.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
